Prerequisites for using MCP

To use MCP in webMethods Hybrid Integration, you must generate an API access key for your client application, as described in Authenticating API requests.

To enable AI agents and MCP clients to access existing integrations, you must expose the workflows or flow services from those integrations as MCP tools. For more information, see Exposing workflows as MCP tools, and Exposing flow services as MCP tools.
