As an administrator, you can get started by setting up accounts, managing users and
environments, and defining integration goals.
Before you begin
The webMethods Integration
capability must be enabled. For more information, see Enabling capabilities.
Procedure
- To open the webMethods Hybrid Integration home page, from the side navigation menu, click webMethods
Integration.
- Creating projects.
Create a project and add
workflows and flow services to it.
- Create custom roles.
Create
custom roles and assign them to users. Each custom role defines project-level permissions that are
granted to users when a custom role is assigned to a user.
- Enable smart mapping.
Enable smart
mapping to allow the system to provide recommendations when you map the action data.
- Optional: Contact your account executive to upgrade your contract and enable
the listed features that are not available by default.
- Messaging
- Exchange information and data between different applications, systems, or services.
- SAP® ERP and IBM Power
connectors
- SAP® ERP connector access is restricted and is not publicly available. For more information,
contact IBM® support.
- IBM Power connector access is restricted and is not publicly available. This option is available
exclusively for Develop Anywhere Deploy Anywhere enabled tenants. For more information, contact IBM
support.
- Polling Notifications
- Polling notifications are enabled only for the database connector by default. Messaging service
must be enabled for polling notifications to work.
- In deploy anywhere flow services, polling notifications are not supported for the database
connector.
- SAP® ERP Listeners
- SAP® ERP listeners are available only upon request. Contact IBM support.
- Caching in flow services
- Caching stores service results based on input values, allowing faster responses by avoiding
repeated processing.
- Restart and resume flow services
- Use restart and resume to control the run of flow services after a failure or interruption.
