Understanding SAP® ERP listeners

SAP users can access the information that is available by using SAP® ERP. Create RFCs on the SAP system that starts services on webMethods Integration.

Before you can create an RFC that starts a service, you must configure the SAP system to have an RFC destination for an RFC listener that runs at SAP® ERP. This configuration enables the SAP system to send RFCs. Also configure the SAP® ERP to have an RFC listener that listens for RFCs from the SAP system.
