Editing embedded Power BI reports

You can edit embedded Power BI reports in Sustainability Reporting Manager. Embedded Power BI reports are editable by all users that have edit permissions for the response, which includes the response assignee, contributors, system administrators, and disclosure owners.

About this task

Note: The Save as feature is not supported because only one Power BI report instance exists per response.

Procedure

  1. Open the report in edit mode.
To open a full page view of the report, when the Power BI report is open, click the edit icon at the upper right of the Calculated Metrics pane. This action switches the report to full-page edit mode.
  2. Modify report visuals.
In edit mode, you can add, remove, or modify any visuals in the report.
  3. Set the default view.
After you make your changes, go to the Filters tab or any other tab you prefer to display by default in view mode. If the Filters pane is open, close it to help ensure a clean default view. Power BI saves the report in its current state, so resetting the view improves usability.
  4. Save your changes. When you are finished making changes, you can save the report using the File menu at the upper left, or using the Save icon at the upper right.
