Modifying locations

Edit online

A system administrator can create, edit, close, and delete a location.

Before you begin

Open the Locations grid. From the main menu, click Manage > Locations to open the Locations grid.

About this task

Note: When you want to edit a location where the location data is loaded by using a data connector, contact your IBM® ESG Suite support team. Changes to the location details can disrupt data connector functionality.

Procedure

  • To edit a location, select a location in the Locations grid, and click Actions > Edit Location.
    1. Edit any of the fields that you set when you created the location.
    2. Click Save.
  • To delete a location, select one or more locations in the Locations grid, and click Actions > Delete.
  • To edit the address of a location, select one or more locations in the Locations grid, and click Actions > Address.
  • To close a location, select the location in the Locations grid, and click Actions > Close Location.
    1. Enter a close on date for the location.
    2. Click Save.
