Exporting targets and programs into Envizi ESG Suite

After you finalize forecasts and programs, export validated targets and programs to spreadsheets, map them to IBM® Envizi ESG Suite templates, and upload for execution, tracking, and reporting.

About this task

The Export Targets and Programs worksheets provide flattened grids that are optimized for import. You must upload the exported Excel files into Envizi ESG Suite by using its import interface to ensure data alignment between platforms.

IBM Planning Analytics comes with an ability to export any view to an Excel spreadsheet. This same export process is available for any other grids in the application. Ensure that you select the correct grid and the Export button appears in the contextual ribbon.

Procedure

  1. Open the Export Targets worksheet.
    1. Use dimension selectors or selection widgets to refine the data that you want to export.
    2. Select the grid, then click Export > Export to spreadsheet from the ribbon, and download the Excel workbook.
    3. Populate the Envizi ESG Suite bulk upload template and upload after validation.
  2. Open the Export Programs worksheet.
    Repeat the export for program data, including CapEx, OpEx, and emissions impact modeled across locations and time.

Results

After upload, programs become actionable in Envizi ESG Suite and are trackable over time with continuous improvement cycles.
