Exploring the Forecast cube

Use the exploration grid on the Baseline Forecast sheet to view and edit cube data by rearranging dimensions and filtering members.

Procedure

  1. From the Baseline Forecast sheet, locate the exploration grid.
  2. Drag and drop dimensions to rearrange rows, columns, and filters.
  3. To refine the view, right-click a dimension header and choose an option.
    Available options include Hide > Member, Show > Member, or Switch > Hierarchy.
  4. Optional: Move dimension widgets between the shelf and workbench to change views.
  5. Optional: Use Set Editor to create reusable subsets for recurring analyses.

Results

Important: Version determines whether data is historical (Actuals) or user-created (Forecast). Only forecast values can be modified and saved.
