Adding questions

When a disclosure is created, you can add questions from managed frameworks and custom frameworks to the disclosure.

About this task

You can add questions from one or more frameworks to a disclosure. You can review the wording of the question before you add it.

In the disclosure, questions are grouped into topics. If you add questions from multiple frameworks, you can enable the option to group them into categories that apply across all frameworks. Select the Use cross-framework categorization option.

If you want to remove a question from a disclosure, follow the same procedure, except that you clear the questions that you want to remove.

Note: The All/Material toggle in the following procedure is only available to system administrators.

Note: If a topical question is scored in multiple disclosures, the score from the most recent reporting period is used.

Procedure

On the Sustainability Reporting Manager home page, click the name of the disclosure to open it.
To add questions, click Actions > + Add questions.
Select a framework and click Select questions.
If your organization’s materiality assessment is documented in a separate disclosure, you can switch between All and Material views using the toggle.
For more information, see Using the Envizi ESG Suite materiality framework. All displays every question available in the selected framework. Material displays only questions whose mapped topical questions from a materiality framework are scored at or above the company’s defined thresholds for impact or financial materiality. For more information, see Setting materiality thresholds.
Select the checkbox of one or more questions.
Click Save.

Results

The disclosure is populated with questions.

What to do next

Assign roles to Sustainability Reporting Manager users to manage the workflow of response to questions.

You can filter questions on the Disclosures page. To filter by cross-framework categories, select Use cross-framework categorization. To filter the set of questions that are visible by a specific user, select the pill with the initials of the user. To filter to show only those questions that are awaiting your action, select Actionable questions.
