Managing identity adapter application profiles

You can create application profiles for account provisioning on on-prem endpoints through identity adapters.

Before you begin

You must have administrative permission to complete this task.
An identity adapter must be configured for provisioning. See Configuring target applications for provisioning for endpoints managed by Identity Adapters.
An identity agent must be configured for provisioning. See Configuring an identity agent for provisioning.

Application profiles for users from Verify to on-premises adapters like LDAP and Oracle Database.

Log in to the IBM® Verify administration console as an Administrator.
Select Applications > Application profiles.
Select Create profile.
Select Identity adapter profile.
Provide a unique name for the profile.

Note: The name cannot contain spaces or special characters. You can use hyphens (-) and underscores (_).
Optional: Add a description.
Browse and upload the identity adapter profile JAR file.
Select the Provisioning identity agent from the dropdown. To create a new identity agent for provisioning, see Configuring an identity agent for provisioning.
Select Create profile.
The profile is created as a draft.
Review the profile. If no changes are needed, select Publish draft.
Select Yes, publish to confirm that you want to make the application profile available for use.
