Configuring an identity agent for provisioning

Procedure

  1. Select Integrations > Identity agents.
  2. Select Create agent configuration.
    The Create agent configuration wizard opens.
  3. Select Provisioning as the purpose.
  4. Select Next.
  5. For Connection settings, provide the following information.
    • Identity Brokerage URL
    • Identity Brokerage username
    • Identity Brokerage password
  6. Select Next.
  7. In Finalize configuration, provide a name and description for the identity agent.
  8. Optional: Select View advanced settings to select an encryption certificate.
  9. Select Save and continue.
  10. In Next steps , do the following steps.
    1. Download the Docker Compose yaml file.
    2. Deploy the containers on the on-premises dockerhost by using the command that is provided.
      docker-compose -f <agent name> provisioning-docker-compose.yml up -d
    3. Select View API credentials and use the copy to clipboard icon to copy and store the Client ID and Client secret.
      Note: Only users with the proper entitlements can see the client secret. For more information, see Security updates for entitlements.
