Uninstalling Tivoli Netcool Performance Manager 1.4.1 patch

Uninstall the Tivoli Netcool Performance Manager 1.4.1 patch.

Before you begin

  1. All services apart from the database must be stopped by using the following command:
    sap stop
  2. Verify that the services are not running by using the following command:
    sap disp

Procedure

  1. As user virtuo set WMCROOT directory by using the following commands: 
    ksh
export WMCROOT=/appl/virtuo
  2. Run the patch remove script as follows: 
    cd $WMCROOT/admin/software/core
./vallent-vt-patch-P1410110.remove
  3. Run the following postinstallation script as user virtuo: 
    cd $WMCROOT/admin/support/bin
./post-uninstall_TNPMW141.ksh
  4. Enter Oracle database sys password when you are prompted: <sys_password>
