Creating Access Manager configuration files with the DataPower utility
How to create the files for an Access Manager client. This action registers an Access Manager client configuration.
About this task
A client configuration consists of a unique identity in the secure Access Manager domain. The registration process creates client configuration files, a key database file, and a stash file. After these files are created, you can use these files to configure an Access Manager client.
Attention: Use these files for only one client to ensure that each client has its own
unique identity for registration in the secure Access Manager domain. This
approach avoids discrepancies when the key database password and stash files are refreshed.
Procedure
- In the search field, enter access manager.
- From the search results, click Access Manager client tools.
- Click the Create Access Manager configuration tab.
- Define the operational properties.
- Click Create Access Manager configuration.
- Follow the prompts.
Results
The following files are in the local: directory:
- The ASCII version of the client configuration files.
