Maintaining operating procedures

You use the Operating Procedures application to provide reference information about standards and procedures that are associated with operating policies and job plans. You can associate standard actions with lines in an operating procedure, and you can assign ownership to operating procedures.

Operating procedures apply to job plan tasks and work order tasks. When tasks on a job plan contain operating procedures, the operating procedures are copied to the work tasks on work orders that use the job plan.
