Bypass operation status values

Bypass operations have a status, such as approved or suspended. Bypass Management application processes often do different actions on records according to their status values.

Status About this status
ACTIVE Active. The bypass operation record is approved and is active. The bypass operation record is available to other records and applications. You can extend the duration of a bypass operation record that is in Active status.
APPR Approved. The bypass operation record is reviewed and approved. You can add standard actions. You can change a record with an Approved status to any of the available statuses. You cannot delete the record.
CANCELED Canceled. The bypass operation record is canceled.
CLOSED Closed. The bypass operation record is finalized. You can close a bypass operation record that is in Waiting for Approval, Draft, or Canceled status. You cannot delete the record. The bypass operation record can be associated with an Audit and Survey record before the record is closed. You can use this status when you want to delete the record and deletion is not allowed. After you close the bypass operation record, it becomes a history record and you can change it only by selecting Edit Bypass History from the More Actions menu.
COMPLETED Completed. All work on the bypass operation is complete. You can change a bypass operation record in this status to Closed.
IN PROGRESS In Progress. Work on the bypass operation record is in progress. You can change the record. You can delete the record if it is not associated with any work orders.
WAPPR Waiting on Approval. The bypass operation record is waiting for approval. This status is the default status of a new bypass operation record. You can change a record with a Waiting on Approval status to any of the available statuses. You can delete the bypass operation record if it meets the following conditions:
  • It does not have workflow history.
  • It does not have follow-up records.
  • It is not a follow-up record.
WPCOND Waiting on Plant Condition. Work on the bypass operation record is temporarily stopped until the essential conditions at the plant are met. You can change a record with a Waiting on Plant Condition status to any of the available statuses.
WSCH Waiting to be Scheduled. The bypass operation is waiting to be scheduled. You can change a record with a Waiting to be Scheduled status to any of the available statuses.
