Specifying corrective follow-up actions

To focus attention on findings that are critical to safety, you can review the answers to the questions. You can use the responses to provide actions to take as a follow-up to an audit or a survey.

About this task

When the survey or the audit is in progress, you can analyze the results. You can add your findings based on the answers to the questions. You can relate each finding, in sequential order, with the question number that generated a response.

1. In the Audit and Survey application, open the audit or the survey for which you want to specify findings and make recommendations.
2. Specify and describe each finding that resulted from an answer to a question that was asked.
3. In the Sequence field, specify the order in which the question displays in the survey or the audit.
4. Select the question that is associated with each finding.
5. Specify a recommendation that you can associate with each finding.
6. In the Follow-up section, specify whether the finding is associated with a safety-critical function.
7. For each finding, specify an action that is associated with the audit or the survey, and assign the person who is responsible for completing the action.
8. Save the record.
