Editing a location

You can edit an existing location to reflect changes in its name, condition, or assigned users. For the default location, you can manage users only.

About this task

Use the Edit location grid to update location details and manage user access in Maximo Inventory Optimization.

Procedure

  1. In the Administration application, click Cost model from the side navigation menu.
  2. Click Locations.
  3. In the Locations grid, select the location that you want to edit.
  4. In the Edit Location grid, update the Location name and Condition.
    Note: For the default location, the name and condition are not editable.
  5. To manage users, in the Select users list, choose user to assign to the location.
  6. Click Right arrow icon icon to add user in the Selected users list.
  7. Click Save.
