Supplier Assessment Series

In the Supplier Qualification module, an assessment series creates multiple assessments over a specified period, at fixed intervals.

It is a renewal of assessments on a fixed time basis. All assessments that are created as part of the series are similar.

Each time the assessment gets over, it is available in the Assessmentspage and in the Assessment series page for view.

The qualification of a supplier can be assessed in periodic intervals. User must setup the series once saving time and effort. Supplier assessments are generated automatically on defined deadlines. Series are set to create automatic assessments after days, weeks, or months. Create once or Create a passive series option are available. In case of the Create once option, an evaluation creates another evaluation as a one-time action and is independent whereas in a passive series, it does not trigger by itself and is always dependent on the process that triggers it.

In released Assessments that are a part of a series, when users click Request New Assessment, the series is renewed immediately. The series restarts with the Initiate or auto Initiate step and the time duration also is restarted.

When users click Request Internal only Assessment, the series is restarted. The initiate and release steps and the notifications can be skipped as it is an internal assessment. The suppliers are not notified and the time is also not restarted. The user can update the answers for internal questions and the assessment is automatically released. For example, if the duration of the series is 12 months, and Request Internal only Assessment is clicked after 11 months, the series is renewed in one month. The adhoc Request Internal only Assessment is available only if the questionnaire contains additional internal and external questions. The option is not available, if mandatory external answers are missing. The Adhoc renewal option is available for the Supplier Assessment series only if it is configured in the template.
