Configuring the ICFM client

After you install the IBM® Counter Fraud Management client software, you must configure the client applications.

  • Importing a self-signed certificate for ODM Rule Designer
    If you use self-signed certificates in your environment, you must import the certificate into the ODM Rule Designer certificate store. This is required to establish SSL communication between ODM Rule Designer and ODM server.
  • Installing IBM SPSS Data Access Pack
    Install IBM SPSS® Data Access Pack on the Counter Fraud tools client.
  • Creating the data sources to the Counter Fraud database (CFDB)
    You must configure the ODBC connections to point to the Counter Fraud database.
  • Configuring IBM Integration Toolkit
    Configure IBM Integration Toolkit with a remote integration node on the client. To complete configuration, IBM Integration Bus must be started on the ICFM server and the client must have connectivity to the server. By default, IBM Integration Bus is started when Counter Fraud is started via icfm.1.ctl-all.sh for single server and icfm.3.ctl-core-all.sh on the Core server for a three-server installation.
  • Configuring WebSphere MQ Explorer
    Configure a queue manager for Counter Fraud in WebSphere® MQ Explorer on the client. To complete configuration, WebSphere MQ must be started on the ICFM server and the client must have connectivity to the server. By default, WebSphere MQ is started when Counter Fraud is started via icfm.1.ctl-all.sh for single server and icfm.3.ctl-core-all.sh on the Core server for a three-server installation.
  • Configuring SPSS Analytical Decision Manager
    Configure a server connection and a modeler server to access SPSS Analytical Decision Manager on the client.
  • Configuring IBM Data Studio
    After you install IBM Data Studio on the ICFM tools client, you must create a new database connection for the Counter Fraud database.
