Adding dynamic content

Dynamic content contains personalized information about the person to whom you are sending an email, such as their given name.

About this task

You can add dynamic content to any of the following locations:

  • Email or landing page
  • Subject line
    Note: In a locked template, you can't include dynamic content in the subject.
  • From name, from address, or reply to address lines

To add personalization, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. In the message, place your cursor where you want the information to appear.
  2. Click the Personalization icon.
    The column names (fields) appear.
  3. Select the field name, such as Given_Name.
    In this example, the given name of the contact appears in the message.
