public class CommonViewerApplet
extends JApplet

A simple applet that wraps the CommonViewer component. The applet works in a couple of different modes. To automatically logon to a repository, and view an image, include the parameters for

repository, username,
  password, and contentID

. To display content previously cached in the session attribute vbr-content, specify the parameter displayCachedContent. Parameter baseServletURL is required in both modes.

Mode 1 with applet-managed logon/logoff and display of repository content:

repository - Repository ID
username - User name
password - Password
contentID - Content ID of image in repository

Mode 2 to display content previously cached within the servlet session:

displayCachedContent - Indicates that the viewer should display content previously cached in the servlet session attribute vbr-content. The repository object should also be cached in servlet session attribute vbr-repository.

Additional Parameters:

baseServletURL - Required parameter to indicate the URL for the servlet engine eg: "http://localhost:8080/vbr_viewer"
nativeContentServletURL - Optional parameter to indicate the name of the getNativeContentServlet at the baseServletURL address eg: "GetNativeContent"
useImageURLs - Enable or disable the use of image URLs. Image URLs allow the applet to load images directly from a server rather than through the VeniceBridge framework. HTTP Access must be correctly configured to use this flag.
userData - Custom user data that is passed to all servlets.
debug - Enable or disable debug output. When enabled, debug output will be written to standard out. You may need to enable the Java console of your web browser to see debug output.

Initialize the applet. The default behavior is to set the layout manager to BorderLayout, create a new external window for the viewer, set applicable variables on the viewer, then display the image selected on the viewer.
