TCP/IP is used for communications with other servers running CDC for Db2® for z/OS® and client workstations running Management Console applications. The TCP/IP statement must appear in the CHCCMMxx control statement partitioned data set member. If omitted, an error message is issued and CDC Replication does not initialize properly.

The TCP/IP statement contains a number of keywords. The syntax for each supported keyword (<Keyword>) in TCP/IP is provided with the keyword description in the following sections. Therefore, to specify the TCP/IP statement correctly, substitute <Keyword> with the syntax diagram for each keyword you want to specify in the statement.

Note: Keyword specifications in the TCP/IP statement must be separated by commas.
