Signing in to your account

Your sign in workflow depends on the identity provider that verifies your access to Watson™ Care Manager. By default, the IBM App ID service verifies your access and you can sign in when you complete the instructions that you receive by email to set up your account and password. About this task

If you are signing in for the first time, follow the instructions in the email and the on-screen prompts to set your password. The email contains a link to set your password which expires after 24 hours. If the link expires, click Forgot password? on the IBM Watson® Health sign in page to set your password.
Important: You password must be at least 8 characters, and include at least 1 lowercase letter, 1 uppercase letter, 1 number, and 1 of the following special characters: \s!"#$%&'()*+,-./:;<=>?@[\]^_`{|}~.
After you set your password, sign in to Watson Care Manager applications by entering your email address and password. Your email address is not case-sensitive. For example, if your address is John.Smith@[name of organization].com, you can enter John.Smith@[name of organization].com or john.smith@[name of organization].com. The password that you enter must be an exact match of the password that you set when you received your account details.
Important: If you incorrectly enter your one-time passcode more than 3 times when signing in, you are locked out of your account for 30 minutes. You can try again after 30 minutes. By default, if you incorrectly enter your password more than 3 times when signing in, you will be locked out of your account for 15 minutes. However, this might be different for your organization. You can try again after 15 minutes.

Procedure

  1. Open the URL that is associated with your account details. The IBM Watson Health sign in page opens.
  2. Enter your email address and password.
  3. If you are prompted to enter a one-time passcode, you will be sent an email with a code.
  4. Enter the code. Note: The code expires after 15 minutes. If the code expires, click Resend Code to request another email with a new code.
  5. Click Continue to sign in. Note: If you are not prompted to enter a one-time passcode, after you enter your username and password, click Sign in. Your home page opens.
