Managing your user profile

Your user profile contains information about you, such as your name, skills, roles, and contact details. You can add or remove a photo from your user profile. If your access to Watson™ Care Manager is verified by the IBM App ID service by default, you can request to change your user password.

About this task

If your access to Watson Care Manager is verified by a third-party identity provider, the option to reset your password is not available because your password reset process is managed by your organization's identity provider, not Watson Care Manager.

Adding or removing a photo from your user profile refreshes your workspace and clears your list of recently visited pages.

Procedure

  1. Open the URL that is associated with your account details.
    The Watson Care Manager sign in page opens.
  2. Sign in to your account.
    Your Home page opens.
  3. From the menu next to your name on the menu bar, select Profile.
  4. Complete the following steps to choose a photo or request a new password.
    Task Action
    Upload a photo
    1. Click Upload Photo. Only you can upload your photo.
    2. In the Upload Photo window, click Browse to select a file to upload, and click Save.
      Restriction: You can upload only .JPEG, or .JPG files that do not exceed 500 KB.
    Remove your photo
    1. Click Remove Photo. Only you can remove your photo.
    2. In the Remove Photo window, click Yes to remove the photo.
    Change your user password
    1. Select the link to request a password change. A password set or reset email is sent to your email address.
    2. To complete changing your user password, follow the instructions in the email that you receive.
      Note: This option is available only when your access to Watson Care Manager is verified by IBM App ID.
