Format

The softcopy report is composed of variable-length records, with a maximum length of 512 characters per record. All records begin with a 10-character Layout ID or format identifier. Table 6 describes the overall format of a softcopy record. Individual AFPSTATS records are described in Table 7 and detailed information about the AFPSTATS softcopy report format is listed in Softcopy record details.
