Licensing for WebSphere Application Server
To install WebSphere Application Server, you must have a license for IBM® Enterprise Application Runtimes, IBM Cloud Pak® for Applications, WebSphere® Hybrid Edition, or WebSphere Application Server.
To obtain a license, consult your IBM representative or authorized IBM Business Partner. You can schedule a consultation or start a no-cost trial from the WebSphere Application Server web site. To see license terms, click the Review license links in the following table.
Note that entitlement to WebSphere Application Server includes entitlement to the WebSphere Application Server traditional runtime component and the WebSphere Application Server Liberty runtime component.
