The IBM Security Network Intrusion Prevention System GX7000 Series appliance is available. Compatibility, installation, and other getting-started issues are addressed.
The GX7000 Series appliance is a new model in the Network IPS line that offers Network IPS protection for 10 GbE. This release of the The GX7000 Series appliance supports the use of SNMPv3 notifications.
This release requires Java™ Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.6 to be installed on the remote system running the web browser used to access the Network IPS Local Management Interface.
