Configuring background check settings

You can configure the links to the background check vendors that are available in the IBM^® Producer Lifecycle and Credential Management application as well as configure automated background checks.

1. Go to System Operations > System Config Settings.
2. Click the BackgroundCheck tab.
3. Click Edit.
4. From the Background Check Configuration Indicator drop-down list, select Yes.
5. You can configure the following options:

   Option	Description
   Automated Check Indicator	When this value is set to Yes, automated background checks are configured, the Auto option is displayed in drop-down menus on the Background Check tab, and the Pass Pending Auto Approve option is displayed in the Background Check Status field.
   OFAC File Location	The file path of the saved import file from the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
   Vendor Site	The URL of your preferred background check vendor.
   OFAC Site Address	The URL of the OFAC site.
   eVerify Site Address	The URL of the eVerify site.
   HR Screening Site Address	The URL of the human resources screening site.
   FINRA Gateway Site Access	The URL of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) site.
   Vector One Site Address	The URL of the Vector One site.

6. Click OK.
