System configuration settings
Administrators can configure access to third party applications from IBM® Producer Lifecycle and Credential Management as well as customize the appearance of the application and map any user-defined workflows to default workflows.
The following third party applications can be configured to work with Producer Lifecycle and Credential Management:
- NIPR integration
- If you have a contract with NIPR, Producer Lifecycle and Credential Management can integrate directly with NIPR. Real-time calls are made from Producer Lifecycle and Credential Management to the NIPR Producer Database to obtain license and appointment data. Producer Lifecycle and Credential Management sends requests for new appointments and termination of appointments and receives files of license renewals, revocations, suspensions, alerts, and other license or appointment changes.
- FINRA integration
- If you subscribe to the FINRA webEFT Form Filing service, Producer Lifecycle and Credential Management can submit files with U4, U4 Amendment, and U5 forms to FINRA. Data from FINRA, such as exam results, exam windows, and state registrations, can be uploaded.
- DTCC integration
- If you subscribe to the DTCC service and receive DTCC Training Update and Training Expiration records from external firms, Producer Lifecycle and Credential Management can upload continuing education, appointment, contract, and producer details received from DTCC.
- CMIS integration
- If you have a CMIS document management system or other third party management system, you can configure Producer Lifecycle and Credential Management to store any uploaded documents in the document management system.
