Enabling the Activity app and adding members
An administrator must enable the Activity app for your Aspera on Cloud organization. Once the app is enabled, the admin must grant access to specific users by making them members of the Activity app.
Prerequisites
To use the Activity app, fulfill the requirements listed here.
- Enable the Activity app for your organization. See Enabling the Activity app and adding members.
- Add members to the Activity app.
- If you have a tethered node (a user-managed IBM Aspera High-Speed Transfer Server that is connected to Aspera on Cloud), review Configure monitoring and metering for your tethered node to ensure the tethered node is configured properly to send transfer data to Activity.
To enable the Activity app, do the following:
- Go to Admin > Applications > Activity.
- Select Enable application, then click Save.

Add members to the Activity app.
Before a user (including yourself) can use the Activity app, you must make them a member of
the app. Note: Add only trusted users as members since all Activity app members, including non-admin members, can view all available data for your organization without restrictions.
- Click Members > Add members.
- Enter the user name or email, then click Add.Note: If the full user name does not appear, that user is not yet a member in the organization. Add the user to the organization.
