When entering an address, the Country or Region drop-down list contains a
list of all the countries or regions. This drop-down list can be hidden if your enterprise
accommodates only one country or region.
About this task
If you want a drop-down list of States to be displayed in IBM® Sterling™ Call Center and Sterling Store Engagement (Legacy), create a region schema that adheres to the
following standards:
- The first level of the region schema must be Countries
or Regions.
- The second level of the region schema must be States.
- The region-level names must be Country or Region
and State.
When a country or region is selected from the
Country or Region drop-down list the system finds the corresponding
region within the configured region schema representing that country
or region. All child regions with a region level of State are shown
in the State drop-down menu. If no region level of State is found,
the State drop-down list changes to a text field to enable you to
type the name of the state manually.
