I have come into IBM as an industrial trainee and part of my job includes building applications using Domino Designer.
Having never used Lotus Domino Designer before there was a fairly steep learning curve.
This blog is designed to document my experiences, the problems I have encountered along the way and the solutions I have found. It is mainly for my benefit to keep track on what I have been working on and to reference problems that I have solved. Hopefully it may also be useful to people of a similar experience level or trying to tackle problems that I have faced.
This will be a very low level blog, with a lot of information that will seem ridiculously obvious to most Domino Designer users, but to someone who has never used it before, i.e. me, it will hopefully be useful to get up and running a bit quicker.
The solutions I describe in here are not necessarily the best way to solve a problem, but they are the solutions I have used and got working. Any feedback about better ways to solve any of the issues discussed will be welcomed and posts may be updated or added if they will be useful to other readers.
The postings in this blog are my own and don't necessarily represent IBM's positions, strategies or opinions
