So IBM has this thing called "Activity-Based Computing". I've mentioned a thing or two about it here on this blog. One of the really cool things about the upcoming implementation is that you use Atom Feeds and the Atom Publishing Protocol to interact with it. The really cool thing about it is that, here we have a *Lotus* product that I'm able to integrate with using nothing but an HTTP client and some XML files; in fact, if you have even just a passing familiarity with the Atom syntax and have the curl command line client installed, you can pretty much do whatever you want. curl -X POST -H "Content-Type: application/atom+xml" -T /newentry.xml http://example.org/activities. Beautiful.
