This is great. Thanks, Paul. <div>&nbsp;</div> Does RBD 8.5 need the fix test installed to run automatic generation in the headless build in the foreground ( <div>&nbsp;</div> Is the testfix included in, or does it need to be installed there? <div>&nbsp;</div> How does one get that fix? Is a call to Rational Support required? <div>&nbsp;</div> Thanks again, <br /> Larry.

The link to seems a bit borked; this worked better for me: <div>&nbsp;</div>;file=a0a6d36d-6fcf-46e7-896d-37a476ef7092 <div>&nbsp;</div> ... And, to answer my own question, the fix test is included in the download. <br />

Larry, <br /> <p><br /> Thanks for posting the corrected <a href=";file=a0a6d36d-6fcf-46e7-896d-37a476ef7092">link to the demo zip file.</a><br /> </p> <p><br /> In answer to your question, the fix was not available when RBD 8.5 was built. The fix will be included in the next fix versions for both 8.0.1 and 8.5.<br /> </p> <p><br /> The fix test included in the demo should only be used with RBD If any one needs a fix test for 8.5, they would need to open a PMR to request it.<br /> </p> <p><br /> Thanks for your kind comments,<br /> </p> <p><br /> Paul<br /> </p> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div>

@Paul - Thanks. The fix installer is Windows-only anyways, so I can't use it on my RHEL workstations. :( <div>&nbsp;</div> Can use the builder fix? Or only plain <div>&nbsp;</div> Anyways, without the fix, I can only "projectBuild", and not "workspaceBuild", is that right? <div>&nbsp;</div> Thanks again - this is good stuff! <div>&nbsp;</div> - Larry. <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div>

Larry, <br /> <p><br /> The fix test is applicable to both RBD and Fix1. Without the fix, the workspaceBuild task will have unpredictable timing problems completing successfully.<br /> </p> <p><br /> You are correct that the fix test installer only runs on windows. However if you can install the fix text on a windows IDE, you will find an EGLFixTests directory in RBD install dropins directory. You could then copy the EGLFixtests directory to the dropins directory of your IDE. Make sure your IDE and the windows IDE are at the same level before you start.<br /> </p> <p><br /> Hope this helps,<br /> </p> <p><br /> Paul</p> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div>

Hi Paul, <div>&nbsp;</div> Demo worked fine, thanks. However, I have been trying to get this to work on my application, but it seems that the workspaceBuild does not get dependencies between projects even with Build Automatically is checked. <div>&nbsp;</div> I keep getting this error: The project cannot be built until ProjectX is rebuilt. Rebuilding all projects is recommended. <div>&nbsp;</div> In RBD itself, the Build All method works which is essentially the workspaceBuild Ant task right? <div>&nbsp;</div> Any ideas? <div>&nbsp;</div> Thanks, <br /> KC
