HMC upgrade most probably deleted utilization data history on the HMC.
All errors here (apart "Pool aggregated ...") should disappear next day, do not see here any reason why lpar2rrd should not work.
"Pool aggregated ..." is also not critical, it is more warning.

    Cheers,

Thank you for the reply. It has been over a week since I updated the HMC. I can get the current days data on lpar2rrd by clicking the refresh button on any screen. The historical data is still not being displayed in the graphs. Is there a way to clear all of the history and start over with fresh data?

I have the following errors in the error log.

I see what I did wrong. I commented out load.sh from lpar2rrd's crontab when I updated lpar2rrd to V3.4 and never uncommented load.sh after I was done. Now that I have load.sh running again all of my historical graphs are working.

    Hi Pavel,

    I have the same problem

    "wrong input data in hmcg:RackG-Server-9119-FHB-SN838E7CB:data:/home/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd/d
ata/RackG-Server-9119-FHB-SN838E7CB/hmcg/mem.in-m : No results were found. : No child processes"

with one of our HMC (no problems with other three HMC). Even after updating and then reinstalling

Attached some line of the "load.out"

    RRDTool version: 1.2013
    Perl version   : 5.008008
    managed system : hmcg:RackG-Server-9119-FHB-SN838E7CB (type_model*serial : 9119-FHB*838E7CB)
    HMC version    : hmcg V7R7701

    Any idea?

    Thanks for any help...

    Have a good day

    Hi,

what return following cmds under lpar2rrd user:

    ssh hmcg " lslparutil -s s -r sys -n 1 -m RackG-Server-9119-FHB-SN838E7CB -F time,curr_avail_sys_mem"

    ssh hmcg " lslparutil --r config  -F name,sample_rate -m RackG-Server-9119-FHB-SN838E7CB "

Had it ever worked before? Had you done anything before it has stopped like HMC upgrade?

    Cheers,

    Pavel

    Hi,

    This is the output

    $ ssh hmcg " lslparutil -s s -r sys -n 1 -m RackG-Server-9119-FHB-SN838E7CB -F time,curr_avail_sys_mem"
    05/15/2014 02:42:12,500736
    $ ssh hmcg " lslparutil -r config  -F name,sample_rate -m RackG-Server-9119-FHB-SN838E7CB "
    RackG-Server-9119-FHB-SN838E7CB,60

This is the first attempt do configure lpar2rrd on that hmc (is a new Frame just added in our environment). The problem did not occur for another Frame updated from FHA to FHB

    Thanks

    Hi,

it should be ok, the HMC provides data ...

Send us logs, we will check it out ...

    cd /home/lpar2rrd/lpar2rrd
tar cvhf logs.tar logs etc tmp
    gzip -9 logs.tar

    Send us logs.tar.gz via

    Hi,
I have HMC V7.8.0.1, I have 3 Servers. After a firmware upgrade Server FHB showed no more the graphics, but the graph "last year" works.
In the error log showed "future date timestamp detected".
I updated the lpar2rrd 3.61 to 4.51. Now the log is clean but still not showing the graphs
    .

Is allowed utilization data collection (60 sec):

    ssh __HMC__ "lslparutil -r config  -F name,sample_rate"

    Does this return any data:

    ssh __HMC__ " lslparutil -s s  -r pool  -n 5  -m __FHB_server__  -F time,sys_time,time_cycles"

When both is fine then send us logs, we will check it out ...

tar cvhf logs.tar logs etc tmp
