Pinned topic Uninstall devices.sdd.53.rte failed, vpaths active??

‏2013-01-22T10:45:38Z |
Hi,

I am uninstalling the devices.sdd.53.rte package and it always fails saying:

The vpaths are still active. Vpath must be removed before the de-install can

continue

But there are no vpaths, and even sddsrv is inoperative. All disks from SVC was unmapped. Here is few examples what I see:

>lssrc -a | grep sdd+ +sddsrv inoperative

>lspv hdisk0 00f6f6ee13fc5945 rootvg active

>datapath query device +No device file found

>lscfg | grep hdisk * hdisk0 U___.___._______-V__-C_-T1-L8100000000000000 Virtual SCSI Disk Drive

>oslevel -s 5300-11-05-1036

I have no idea what now :(

Thanks

Did you rmdev -dl the dpo device?

No, I did not know it is needed. And yes, this was the problem, the package is uninstalled now. Thanks for very quick reaction...
