Pinned topic How to re-enable my login prompt

‏2010-01-22T13:06:01Z |
Hi,

I had disabled my bash prompt to run my cli at init level 3 using
1:2345:off:/sbin/migetty tty1 in /etc/inittab.

I have enabled only one console tty1 for login.

Is there any way to re-enabling the console login on tty1 after disabling?

Thanks,
prem

Sure. Just edit /etc/inittab again and use "/sbin/telinit q" to re-examine the inittab file.
