Pinned topic MAXIMO and SSO
In order to avoid the user to tape twice the login / password (one for the portal and one for Maximo), I want to configure a SSO (Single Sign On) between my applications' portal and Maximo.
Is it possible and how ?

Re: MAXIMO and SSO2009-03-09T16:04:35Z in response to SystemAdminSetting up the LDAP integration was pretty easy. My experience closely followed the steps in the document, and I was able to populate a sample set of users and groups from Active Directory. Single Sign-On, however, has been more of a challenge. The latest I have learned from Oracle support is that Web Logic does not support cross-domain authentication. This has been a real challenge for me since my servers are in one domain and my account is in another! I have requested a new user account in the other domain and hopefully will resume configuration and testing sometime this week.

Re: MAXIMO and SSO2009-06-25T12:25:33Z in response to SystemAdminHello,
Please can you help me on this case?
I knew that Ibm Maximo support single sign on (SSO). But I realized that although the security is enabled, we have to tape the loggin and password each time we want to connect to maximo application.
I want to know if there's a way to activate this SSO. what are the steps to do?
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards, Fouad

You may leverage the ISAM for Web to implement the SSO. Here is the SSO example by using ISAM for Web.
If you have purchased an IBM Value Package (http://www-304.ibm.com/partnerworld/wps/servlet/ContentHandler/pw_com_vpo_value_package) then I may recommend you to submit a PMR (https://www-304.ibm.com/isv/tech/remoteEmail/entryForm.jsp) for further assistance.Updated on 2014-01-02T08:09:14Z at 2014-01-02T08:09:14Z by ExInEx
