Wow time certainly does fly - 10 days until approx. 4000 people will arrive in Orlando for a week of enablement, fellowship and fun at Innovate 2013.
And for those interested in what's happening in the Quality Management and Testing track, read on as I share a brief overview and "tips" for Day 3.
Starting things off with a "Shift Left" in Room 1, this session shares insight on how to begin performance testing earlier simulating "real world" scenarios to improve the quality of today's complex applications before deployment. Next, we will talk about becoming more Agile in quality and testing continuously with an introduction to Agile Quality. This is followed by What's the real deal in testing - a "Doctor is in Session". The "Doctor is in session" is a new idea we are testing out this year. Share your quality management and testing pains with "Doctor QM&T" discussing solutions, approaches and/or best practices. Just know that there are no stupid questions or wrong answers.
Next, we focus in on Rational Quality Manager. We, at IBM, talk about right sizing your process or modifying your quality management process to meet your organizations needs. This session shares best practices on how to set up team areas, establish time lines, roles & permissions, and workflow. To end up the day in Room 1, we have customers sharing their quality management stories, solutions, best practices and lessons learned.
Next door in Room 2, we begin the day with a focus on performance testing. Tips and tricks, using virtual services to perf test earlier, and how to size your perf testing environment based on IBM expertise. The afternoon in Room 2 is all about you and having our customers share their stories - the good, the bad & the ugly. Hear how Rational Quality Manager has helped Systems development professionals address their quality challenges. Lastly, one of Healthcare customers will go deep into how they have accelerated automated testing using Rational Functional Tester.
But remember, you have to be there to participate. Clic
