Yesterday, I participated in the XML 2005 XML Master Series panel. I was honored to be asked to participate. The panel discussion was most exellent, as was the presentation of the OSU OR* Web services deployment upon which the panel based its discussion.
I believe that Dr. Khan's charts should be available on the web once the conference proceedings are posted. I'll provide a link once they have been posted.
I only wish that there had been a little more time for panel discussion as time ran out just as things were getting interesting.
Probably the one theme that was evident in each of the panelist's comments was the importance of interoperability (no real surprise there:-).
However, from my perspective, what struck me most was the fact that the OR* Web services deployment by OSU was based essentially on the same set of technologies that comprise the RAMP profile.
All-in-all, I thought that we had a great panel, with lots of interesting discussion. I only wish that I could have stayed for the remainder of the conference, as there were some very interesting talks on the agenda, but I have been on the road so much of late that I decided that I simply wanted to sleep in my own bed for a change <grin/>
