Was it the 2004 Red Sox World Series Championship? Or maybe a political lobby you have been involved with for something like the approvals of Wind Turbines? Or maybe something simpler like your child’s music, baseball, or lacrosse team win this weekend?
One of the biggest team wins I’ve recently been involved
with is with the release of our latest software, Maximo Asset Management 7.5,
released on April 29, 2011. I had the
great opportunity to work with an amazing group of software developers and
testers in this release. Based on the
vast needs and experience of our clients, our team prioritized their input, and
then brainstormed the best methods to implement. By working very closely as a team, we spent
an incredible amount of hours to deliver you solid, strong reporting
functionality that you requested.
The most heavily requested client reporting feature that we implemented was the ability to edit an Ad Hoc or QBR report. This was followed by enabling rich text to display in reports, along with emailing reports to a url and direct print updates. Other key new report features include schedule limits, report object structure updates and report import and designer updates. In the next few weeks, we’ll spend some time going thru each of these new features for you, as well as how you can best utilize them in your environment.
But if you can’t stand the anti
the Maximo Wiki Site, you can find a listing of Report enhancements by Release, which details not only the new features for Version 7.5,
but also all the other 7.1 fix pack releases. This will let you quickly see what new functionality
was introduced when…and also see the News Alerts and Support documents for each
Next week, we’ll delve into the details of QBR Editing...with all its great new features. In the meanwhile…with the Orioles, Tigers and Cubs in Boston this week….will they be visiting fellow creatures at the zoo or trying for a win at Fenway?
