DNUG#44 - The German IBM Collaboration User Group Event
abauman 060001EXX2 Visits (1207)
I was thrilled to take part in this year's DNUG event, their 44th one! This time, in the great city of Berlin (a place I'd never been and really enjoyed exploring). DNUG has been around since the early days of Lotus and has a strong following. Last year saw a new board take over with DNUG 43, and over the past year you can tell that the DNUG board has worked hard to make membership valuable for all of their members. This year saw big increase in attendance over recent years, felt very open and a great sense of enthusiasm. During the opening session, hosted by IBM's Inhi Cho Suh, General Manager IBM Collaboration Solutions, it was standing room only! And what a perfect place for Inhi to announce a very exciting acquisition: XCC
Congratulations Felix Binsack and the entire TIMETOACT team! I know you've worked really hard to make this happen, and it's going to be a very valuable addition to the ICS portfolio.
EDIT: DNUG put together an awesome video showing some highlights from the event:
Here are some photo highlights from the conference, don't miss the photos from the dinner cruise down the Spree! Where the bridges are low (really! we could actually touch them, and in some places had to sit down so we didn't get beheaded), and the engagement was high. Many great conversations and much laughter shared during this event. Well done, DNUG!
Thank you to the DNUG team for inviting me, and for being such gracious hosts. I look forward to next year. Remember to save the date! June 20 and 21, 2018! See you there!
