We’d like to inform you that we are deprecating the Push Notifications service on IBM public cloud.
As of July 30, 2021, we will no longer offer Push Notifications as a standalone managed service on IBM Cloud.
At this time, there is not a direct replacement, but Push Notifications will continue to be available as part of Mobile Foundation self-managed software that can run on OpenShift inside IBM Cloud. It will also continue to be part of the IBM Cloud Pak® for Applications that can be run on OpenShift anywhere.
Important dates
- July 30, 2021 - End of Marketing: On this date, the Push Notifications tile will be removed from the IBM Cloud public catalog, and new Push Notifications instances cannot be provisioned. However, existing instances will continue operate and will be supported through the End of Support date.
- June 15, 2022 - End of Support: On this date, any remaining instances will be automatically deleted. Please delete your Push Notifications instances before the End of Support date.
