Paul has been solving "big data" challenges for over 25 years. Across numerous implementations, Paul recognized the failures of traditional monolithic data architectures and has developed new techniques to embrace and develop distributed data topologies enabled through hybrid cloud data architectures, driven by business outcomes and priorities, and managed through agile data governance. Paul is co-creator of the IBM Discovery Workshop, IBM Data and AI Strategy engagement, and IBM Data Topology Coursera course and engagement. Paul is co-author of more than a dozen Data and AI practices within the IBM Garage Method, lead author of the IBM Data and Analytics Field Guide, and co-author of the Best Practices for the IBM Information Integration platform. Paul is a certified Open Group Distinguished IT Specialist and an IBM Senior Certified IT Specialist.
