Checkpoint 1.2: Biometric identification

Provide alternative forms of user identification for biometric identification.


Biometric identification relies on the individuality of the human body to ascertain the identification of that individual. Biometric identification can include eye scans, hand prints and voice recognition. Someone with a physical disability may not be able to reach a hand print machine, position themselves for an eye scan or they may not have the body part required for identification.
