Change event sources

You can add and remove the event sources that are registered to this monitor model version. And, for each event source that is registered to the model version, you can see the current status as well as the version of Business Monitor that supports it.

To remove an event source from this monitor model version, complete the following steps:
1. Ensure that the state of the monitor model version is not active.
2. Select the event sources to remove and then click Remove Event Sources.
To add an event source to this monitor model version, complete the following steps:
1. Click Add Event Sources....
2. Select the event sources to add and then click OK.
  Tip: Event sources that are not in the list might first need to be registered to the monitor model version.

The Version Support Status column displays which versions of IBM® Business Monitor support the particular type of event source. For example, a Dynamic Event Framework (DEF) event source would display V8.5.5 and later versions and a CEI event source would display version numbers earlier than V8.5.5.

To refresh information about the event sources displayed, click the Version Support Status refresh icon ( Refresh symbol

	The connection is successful.
	The connect completed with warnings.
	The connection is not successful.
	An unknown error occurred during the connection test.

To view the administrative console page, click Applications > Monitor Models > version_id > Change event sources.
