All available storage cells have been used in the physical tape library attached to one or more clusters.
Explanation
When all available storage cells in the attached physical tape library have been used, the library enters the All Storage Cells Full state. With physical tape library Automated Library Manager Support (ALMS), the slot count is virtual and may not correspond to the actual physical slot count within the library. If all slots in the virtual slot count are used, The All Storage Cells Full state can result even if physical slots are still available.
Operator response
- Check the status of any degraded cluster on the Cluster Summary page.
- Reconfigure the virtual slot count within the physical tape library virtual partition to correspond to the actual physical slot count associated with the full library.
