One or more clusters have run out of empty stacked volumes. Mount operations are accepted and queued,
but are not run while in this state.
Explanation
One or more storage pools within a cluster have run out of empty or scratch stacked physical volumes. Virtual volume mount operations may be queued if no alternate, non-degraded clusters are available to act as the primary tape volume cache cluster.
Operator response
- Check the status of any degraded cluster on the Cluster Summary page.
- Contact your system administrator.
- Make additional scratch volumes available by:
- Inserting them through the convenience I/O or high capacity rack.
- Moving some scratch volumes from another pool to this pool.
- Performing a reclaim operation.
- Enabling borrowing from another pool with scratch volumes.
