About this task
On Windows and Linux systems, you can start the Installation Manager directly, if required, rather than using the Launchpad to start it.
On UNIX systems, you cannot use the Launchpad, so you must start the Installation Manager directly if you want to install interactively by using a GUI.
Installation Manager first installs itself, and then installs WebSphere Application Server and WSRR.
