WSRR: Product package contents

This topic provides details of the contents available in the WSRR media packs and downloadable electronic installation images.

How to access the WSRR package

You can obtain the product code in either of the followings ways:

From the product media packs, which include CD-ROM and DVD media
From the Passport Advantage® site, where licensed customers can download installation images. For more information about the images available for download, see the Passport Advantage download document.

Note:

On UNIX, the WSRR download package must be extracted using the Gnu tar command. Gnu tar is normally available in the optional software that comes with your UNIX operating system, you can also download it from http://www.gnu.org/software/tar/). Gnu tar for AIX® can be downloaded from the IBM® AIX Toolbox website.
On Windows, extract the contents of the WSRR download package by using a standard extraction tool other than the built-in Windows extraction utility, which might not fully extract all the required parts.

Software supplied with WSRR

Each media pack includes software required to install WSRR, set up WSRR environment, and to assemble and deploy applications. Also included in each media pack are optional supplemental software programs that provide tool support for your production and development environments.

The following is the list the software that is provided with the WSRR product. Not every software program is supplied on every platform.
