Customizing and configuring the dashboard
The dashboard interface to WSRR can be configured and customized to meet your requirements.
If you have the J2EE administrator role, you are a dashboard administrator. You can edit all the dashboard views, and you can determine how much control users in other roles have over their dashboard views.
If you are not a dashboard administrator, then you might find that your editing capabilities are limited. If you want to find out more about your view editing capabilities, discuss with your WSRR administrator.
The following list describes customization and configuration tasks:
- Import views
- You can import views. You might use this feature, for example, to import Business Space spaces that you created in earlier releases of WSRR.
- Create views from templates

- Create blank views
- You can create blank views, add pages, and populate these pages with widgets.
- Create views from existing views
- You can create views by duplicating existing views.
- Edit views
- You can edit a view, and add or remove pages or widgets.
- Manage permissions
- You can determine which users can view or edit which views.
- Configure widgets
- You can edit individual widgets to change their appearance and behavior.
